Lesson 1. Torre de Belen.

Our first plot is the fortress "Waflehem Tower", built in the 16th century as a place of embarkation and disembarkation for the Portuguese discoverers and as the main entrance to Lisbon. In the rays of the setting sun it looks especially impressive!

Features of the lesson:

You will learn how to paint a wet sunset, showing the colors of the clouds in the sunlight. Show the difference between light and shadow.

Lesson 2. Pastel de nata.

The inspiration for the second picture will be a traditional Portuguese dessert, without which a visit to Lisbon cannot be complete. Divinely delicious puff pastries with custard — next to a cup of coffee!

Features of the lesson:

Drawing pastries and coffee foam is a great skill that comes, for example, in sketching in a cafe.

Lesson 3. Santa Cruz beach

Next we will draw the most beautiful beach near Lisbon. Yellow sand and bizarre rocks seem to beckon you to relax and spend a cozy day on the ocean!

Features of the lesson:

In this lesson, you will learn how to draw surf and choose which details to draw and which not to.

Lesson 4. Praca do Comercio.

We will finish our journey at the Market Square with a statue of King José I in the center and a grandiose arch at the entrance. Lisbon is beautiful even at night!

Features of the lesson:

The topics of this lesson are the night sky, architecture and human figures.

ARTIST

NADJA LEUTLOFF

Hi! I'm Nadja Leutloff. As a child, I dreamed of becoming an artist, but began to paint only at 41...

I live and work in Dresden. By education - I am mathematician. In 2014, I left my field of work to fulfill the dream and become an artist. Having no experience in drawing, I devoted myself to studying the basics and daily practice in drawing and watercolor.

Now I do paintings, I teach and conduct master classes around the world, and I believe that there is nothing impossible!

I am absolutely convinced that everyone can draw, because I have already gone this way!

A fun learning experience for those who:

  • Wants to escape from domestic and emotional problems
  • Misses summer and adventures
  • Afraid of “blank paper” and experiments
  • Loves to draw FOR the soul, but for some reason puts it off
