Lesson 1. Delicate flowering

Together we are going to paint the first blossoming flowers — as a symbol of, perhaps, the most romantic time of the year.

Features of the lesson:

You will learn how to paint flowers with watercolors, to repeat their delicate shades and shapes. Here we will work out in detail the techniques of working on a wet sheet and learn how to depict the soft surface of the petals.

Lesson 2. The onset of spring

We will show this long-awaited "new wave" of fresh yellow-green shades of grass and trees under the spring sun.

Features of the lesson:

In this lesson, we will learn how to depict the usual for spring soft light, play with different shades of yellow-green and show the depth of space.

Lesson 3. Spring light in Borten

Then we will find ourselves in a cozy street of the Saxon village of Borten, where the smell of spring is already there and the sun is playing with bright colors.

Features of the lesson:

We will look at an example of an architectural construction with two vanishing points, figure out how to give versatility to the work and learn how to make these bizarre shapes of the shadows.

Lesson 4. Walk in the park

And after that we will take a stroll through the reviving park, enjoying its atmosphere and light.

Features of the lesson:

During this lesson we will analyze the traits of lighting, work out the methods of expressing tonality and contrasts typical for spring scenes.

ARTIST

NADJA LEUTLOFF

Hi! I'm Nadja Leutloff. As a child, I dreamed of becoming an artist, but began to paint only at 41...

I live and work in Dresden. By education - I am mathematician. In 2014, I left my field of work to fulfill the dream and become an artist. Having no experience in drawing, I devoted myself to studying the basics and daily practice in drawing and watercolor.

Now I do paintings, I teach and conduct master classes around the world, and I believe that there is nothing impossible!

I am absolutely convinced that everyone can draw, because I have already gone this way!
